Question about LMR cable runs

Hi Everyone

im planning a wireless link and need advice

At point A there is a Mikrotik RB (R52 radio) and 27 db grid antenna connected by a 1 meter piece if LMR 400

At point B there is a Mikrotik RB (F50 Pro Radio) and 18 db Sector antenna connected by a 12 meter piece of LMR 400

I will be using 5Ghz band and the radios TX power will be set at no more than the legal limit of 18Db

Will the 12 meter piece drastically affect the link ?

The reason for the piece is that the equipment box is at the bottom of the 12 meter pole for aesthetic reasons and for easy access.

Shorter is always better regarding rf cable lengh.

Have a look at this usefull online loss calculator

Works in feet, so 12m would be 39.37ft.

Losses won't be too much as long as it's impedance matched.
