Question about Telkom

A friend of mine want to get ADSL and Telkom has informed him that he HAS to sign a 24 month contract. Is this correct? I thought one had the option of going month to month.

Wasn't the self install thing just for March or have they extended it? Or was it the Wifi that was free just for March and Premium Combo is always free on a self-install?

I was looking for an ADSL application form yesterday, and Telkom sure makes it difficult to find the non-bundled application form.
