Yeah but they do say a dial up and not that you can use your adsl account login . I had to use some one else username and password.

Then why say this in the welcome letter

By dialling our unique PoP access number, 086 000 7249, you will be able to connect to TelkomInternet at local telephone call rates, regardless of where in South Africa you are calling from.

At a guess the username could be your adsl one without the @dsl512telkomsa.net.

yep thats the one I used. Anyway i'm not saying you're not right i'm just saying it didn't work for me.

Turns out - for me at least - its the full username - including everything after the @. You should give them some grief if its not working for you.
