Hiya Beanie

I'm running Win XP Home SP2 on a Pentium 4 Ghz HT.

It's a store bought PC - Fujitsu-Siemens Scaleo 600.

It has the Fujitsu-Siemens D1625C mo-bo.

1 Gb RAM - 2 X 256 MB + 1 X 512BM RAM.

Been getting random restarts - Windows load - then all of a sudden PC restarts by itself.

Sometimes I get the dreaded BSOD - never happened until now.

Here are the error signatures I'm getting:

BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : C0000005 BCP2 : 805822D7 BCP3 : BA033364
BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 768_1

BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : C0000005 BCP2 : 6378A0BF BCP3 : BA94CB98
BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 768_1

BCCode : 1000000a BCP1 : 74726F50 BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 : 00000001

Any idea what's the matter with Betty-Sue (my PC :D) ??

Thanks Beanie :)

Hey mate :)

Interesting name for a PC :D

Have you tried starting up in Safe Mode? Does the problem occur then as well? :)

Feel free to PM me, I'm not always up-to-date on the forums but I check the PMs regularly :D

Did you by any chance install some software or hardware lately on it, or a while ago? Try and think. ;)

Any new drivers installed lately? That's why I recommend booting up in safe mode :)

Nope - no new drivers installed.

No new hardware installed.

O ja - Betty-Sue is a Pentium 4 3 Ghz HT :D

RAM issues? I had a similar problem with my PSU that caused restarts but thats a whole other kind of problem. Try swappin out your RAM and booting into Windows
