funny enough my ECU is made by bosch, even though its a korean car....

my particular one was the 1st one, with an actual short circit,
I even smelt the burning and heard the pop,
problem is mine is sealed and I manage to open it but I not sure it can be repaired by replacing the chip that blow
also Im not sure if it can happen again, that's why I trying to figure out,
at the moment its working 100%, but if it happens again, what else besides the ECU could be at fault....
could driving in traffic affect it?

long time back, and boosted another car before,
usually prefer push start in my case....

Most cars have Bosch electronic systems.
No manufacturer (well none I know of) makes these things themselves.
And no traffic won't do jack to it.
If it's happening repeatedly it's NOT the ECU but something else that it causing the ECU to fail.
