1. 8 Scoops of Ice Cream
2. 250 - 500 ml of milk depending on thickness
3. Blend (I use the hand twister)
4. Top it off with 100's and 1000's or anything else

How do you guys make milkshakes quickly?

Erm, is that not how milkshakes are usually made, with ice cream, milk & flavourant?

I just use a glass of milk, 2-3 table-spoons of your average hot-chocolate powder or milo, 2-3 teaspoons of sugar.
Shake it, throw it in the microwave for a bit, shake again, store in fridge to cool down and drink later.

That's not quick

This is the way I use for the best tasting milkshake.

Dissolve the milo and sugar in 50ml of boiling water first, then add 300 ml cold milk and you can drink immediately.

Its a bit different but I used to love this as a kid.

1 egg
1 t sugar
1/2t vanilla essence
2 pinches nutmeg
milk and ice-cream.

Blend.

The recipe in the first post used to work better back when ice cream was still made of dairy cream and not vegetable fat.

Was wondering why it was missing something last night use to work well before.

Are there any makes of Ice Cream which still work well since Ola went weird last night leaving lumps everywhere not sure if it was off?

Want to try everyones recipe here...

God I hate that schite, it's so bad I don;t buy "ice cream" any more. I think the best you can get these days from super markets is Ola but not even that is great.

I just use Country Fresh (preferably with the Bar One Sauce), a bit of milk and milo powder.

Is there somewhere you can actually buy homemade real ice cream for milkshakes?
