Hi guys.

Trust you are all good today :D

Anyway I need to get an internet connection in place asap. Speed is not really an issue. (Will do some internet browsing for uni assignments and submitting the assignments online)

All things being equal which is the quickest way?

I am pretty certain that a wireless solution like iburst or something like that is going to have the shortest lead time for installation.

I have never been a fan of wireless broadband connections, how well do they work or is worth waiting the million years needed for telskum to install a line and ADSL?

i have adsl from telkom. i wouldnt even bother with telkom. My friend has the vodacom
3g connect card. I think he pays 250 per/m and has a 1g service. The speed is no problem at all. I would go for the wireless, especially if its for uni stuff, etc.

Thanks guys.

Iburst don't cover the area. And judging by the comments on here, sentech should be avoided at all costs.

So I stuck with the devil I know rather then a new one. Telksum 384 :(

There is only one company that I hate more then telkom and will never give business to as far as I can manage and that is Vodascum and their stupid rodent.

vodacom is way better than telkom, **** telkom all the way
