Ok so I'm considering leaving Mweb, but I might have a few hiccups:
- I opted for the FON router w/ 2mb uncapped service. (I believe this can not be used with another ISP, and there is a cost involved with returning it). I do have another router however
- Mweb has control of my DSL line
I am thinking of taking up a capped service with Web Africa. They also have the option of handling the DSL line.
How would I go about cancelling with mweb as soon as possible with little hassle, and moving to Web Africa? I really dont want there to be an issue regarding billing and payments, and 'only end of the month' nonsense. I am all for abiding by the rules, but if there is a sneaky loop hole to get me to greener pastures I would love to know.
Is it wise that an ISP handles the DSL line? or should I rather give it back to Telkom?
