'tis I again.

So, I managed to get some better prices for my new PC, but I would like to find out if there is anyone out there that can beat the prices I have so far.

1 x Asus MBD-AM2, S+V+L+PCIX16, D
- R 838.90
1 x AMD Athlon 64 4200 (AM2) CPU
- R 1784.10
2 x 1GBDDR2 667 MHZ Memory
- R 1821.72
1 x 256MB GeForce 7900 GT PCI-X16 V
- R 2620.86

Total: 7065.58

The prices INCLUDE VAT.

Anyone out there that can beat that price?

yak may i ask you a question?

wtf are you buying an amd dual core for 1700 bucks when a e6300 is the same price and when overclocked beat a dual core fx 62?

killadoob, I don't know. You could just give me some feedback and reasons and maybe some insight as to why I should go with what you suggest? Instead of pointing me out as a n00b :)

I'm contemplating this because a friend of mine bought this system and he's ecstatic with it.

Please elaborate on this E6300. I would prefer not to overclock my machine - I don't want to run the risk of it being damaged.
