im gona be honnest...if you are seriously into mountain biking thats about how much you gona pay for a good bike.

check out silverback bikes. its south african , high specced and very well priced.

but I like the idea of the braking and suspension system - the older type of brakes is next to useless in wet weather.

34K, not too bad, i believe some of the professional cyclists pay a fair bit more then that for their bikes.

And yet, despite all of these companies with gobs of cash developing all sorts of clever things for the cycling crowd, somehow they can't come up with something to better the derailleur!
