R3000 for a compact camera ... which one?

So far I'm very pleased, I have about 400 photos to work through, before I upload them to a gallery. I have used mostly the auto and macro functions so far. I've pointed and taken shots without making an effort to hold the cam still, and have a success rate of 1 blur to about every 30 photos. The camera is easy to operate once you've worked through the manual, I took a few stunning night shots, close-ups of soccer and ja, generally very very happy.

Will post to my gallery once I've resized, cropped and so on.(photos taken mostly at 4320 x 3240 avg size 2.71 mb)

Okay will post samples here within hour.

That first pic is full of telephone poles detracting from the scenery :p

You should try and photoshop them out :D
