How much broadband would I be using +/- racing online and what would the lag be on I-burst. Is it worthwhile?

I got the 1GB package and now that MyAdsl is not keeping me that busy anymore and I can't find any interesting downloads and I get confused with GoogleEarth I need to waste some bandwidth.

Haven't played any so far. Only had this brainwave over the weekend, but am trying for GTR and Grand Prix Legends.

And then of course GT Legends when it comes out in 3 sleepies.

I've raced online (SGS) with Iburst before and had no probs. If I remember correctly I was using about 1MB per minute. I only played for about 45mins and I was down about 40MB

SA online racing leagues..

www.sarl.co.za and www.orionsimracing.com.. running Nascar 2003 (with mods for cup, aero 88, trucks, trans am, GTP ... etc) and GTR.

there are also servers for rFactor and Live for Speed...

Bloody South Africans don't race online at eight in the morning. What is their problem? Or they saw my laptimes and decided to illegalize online racing
