Racism in Australia ?

I wonder if Australia is 'racist' because they have a lot of people coming in and commiiting crime?

For example, Australians have created one of the nicest places to live in the world. Yet, they allow in Lebanese whom have brought up crime rates and gangs. Who is more evil, the evil White racist who let the immigrants in or the immigrants who bring violence and crime?

It's like the hundreds of thousands of Blacks whom immigrated to SA under 'evil' apartheid.

I'm so sick of hearing the word 'racist' as if it equals child molester, murderer, carjacker, etc. Maybe if certain groups didn't disproportionally commit violent acts then we wouldn't have 'racism.'

And by now it should be clear that White people are targeted with crime, because they are Whites. Now that's a far bigger problem then "racism in Australia". The Aussies don't like certain people, but they don't kill them at the moment. And I still want to see prove that one was paid to kill socalled aborigines (Just because they were aborigines).

Dumb opinions on that? Perhaps all those people preaching that everybody is equall and can act civilized, these are dumb opinions being uttered.
 
Yip, racism in Australia, no doubting that. Racism everywhere. But the racists don’t come into your house, burn you with hot irons and act on their racist intentions, as seen daily in SA. In summary, Racism is in Aus, as in NZ, but the actions from some load mouth so called racists are really carried out. If they are, the offenders are not tolerated, whatever their race, White/Black/Maori/Indians/Asians/Aborigines. That’s the difference with SA.

One of the reasons New Zealand is not a state of Australia (And this option still exists today for it to become a state of AUs), is because of the way the aborigines were/are treated. NZ does not want to become part of Aus in fear that the NZ Maoris would be treated differently and be unfairly discriminated against. As the aborigines in Aus. But these days there are many Maoris living in Aus, because as NZ citizens they are free to just hop over and work. If they are going there, I can’t see such a big problem with racisim against them. They are choosing to live there and not NZ. But, some of my Indian collegues have told me before that they would not go to Aus, due to the racism against the Indians and Asians in Aus. (there is a far larger Asian influence in Aus) And that’s what probably drives this racism.

I would also be very weiry of anything coming from the homecomingrevolution site. The site promotes the good of SA and chooses to ignore the bad. It misleads expats into returning to SA, gives the false impression of plenty of jobs, crime being over rated etc. This woman’s experience on the train, well I just need to ask. Lady have you ever caught a train in SA?
 
People all over the world are racist, big deal. That's why people mostly stick to places where there is a significant population of their own race. Russia is probably even worse, since it's virtually all white people (just an example).

Everyone thinks they are better than their neighbours and the same mentality goes for racism. :D
 
it's well known that Australians don't like poeple of color, no shock in that... I don't agree with it, but that's how Australia is, it's a lot like south africa but just in reserve...

Frankly I'm surprised that they even moved to Australia..

... The first incident Glenda reports was actually from someone that seems to be attracted to her. He obviously like people of colour.
(1) A stranger sat next to me on the train and touched my leg… by accident I thought at first, but then he blatantly did it again – and not touched, felt!! and when I reacted, I was told to stop being a stuck up black bitch and give him some. (I’m( proudly) a coloured South African).

So it's actually her being racist for refusing this approach (at least in South Africa White girls are afraid of being labeled racist, if the act like Glenda).

(2) I have a Swedish Boyfriend and we were approached by a couple of guys who were not happy with him dating a black woman! it’s wrong they say. I should stick to my own kind…

... I guess anyone is entitled to an opinion on other people's mating choices.

Me thinks Australia isn't different from other countries in the attitudes.
