A long time ago someone told me that the ANC's most powerful weapon is Racism, and as long as that is alive the ANC will rule... The ANC didn't think white people would back off and agree that we were wrong so easily, now we see the ANC in two because they cannot keep racism alive.

Like everything in the old regime were from Satan now they trying to make everything racial.... the boat have sailed... and the ANC knows it (springbok) they couldn't find reason to take it away and they were looking for something racial.

Racism will always be around but in the minority of all races.

I think he's comment was racist plain and simple... Would it have been racist if the cleaner made a comment to him in the lines of: "Nice veld-sokkies u have on there, blerrie boere!"

One can only be racist or even rude if there was motive involved. If I see a bloke posing with broom in hand I may even say something similar. Like "hi there, nice spear you have" - with genuine smile on my face. It will not be WHAT I say, but HOW I say it. Perhaps this was the problem....
