Have to change tyres again for the 2nd time this year because of the kak JHB roads and tyre shop mentioned maybe trying these instead of Bridgestones. R4k price difference for the pair of tyres so seriously considering it.

Especially if I have to buy another pair 18 within 18 months again.

Thoughts?

Depends on what type of tyre.

I have Radar Renegade RT+ on my offroad skedonk, and they're decent.

Not sure which ones but just needed 1 positive recommendation JHB basically is offroad driving at times

They are not created equal. Like all brands you get different tiers. It would help if we knew if this is for a bakkie, run around tjor or high performance vehicle. Also the size. Then look for reviews on https://www.tyrereviews.com/Tyre/Radar

It’s specifically for a run-around SUV. Does 2-3 long distance trips a year but no bundu bashing etc

They are decent tyres, harder tyres especially good for our road conditions. I have had 2 sets in the past on a sedan. On a side note, Radar tyres gives a portion of the proceeds to Cancer research.
