Radeon 5830 !

Anyone know the cheapest place to get one of these ?

looking like my best option for value to what you get, so if i can get one for a similar price to a 4890.

its the one :)
 
No, dont. Get a 5850 or a 5770. The 5830 is overpriced for what it is.

well they the same speed, just that the 5830 has dx11 and all the "new" stuff so ya :)
 
Dont go for the 5830, its not value for money when compared to the 5850 (which should only be a few bucks more). The 5830 is alot slower, but not alot less in price.

problem is the 5770 is slower then a 4890, by quite a bit, and they are a similar price ! and a 5850 is an extra 1.5k
 
What you looking to spend? You can get a 5850 for R2700. Still prefer the 5830?
 
hmmm.. thats not bad :) was only finding like 3.3k + prices.
 
And at home I have a R100 off voucher I can post here that anyone can use, if you can wait till this evening to save 100 bucks.
 
Any one can use the voucher. It's one use per username. So the whole forum can use it. :)
 
Just hold on abit. The GTX460 will be released next month. Mebbe then well seen some price drops from ATI.
 
ya im not in a complete rush, just on the lookout.

its exams now, so ill only be able to use the card in a month or so's time anyway so ill get it about then !
