lol, ya, i know what you mean, but still, it's a little nerve racking coz if you make a mistake it could all go wrong

I find ATi cards are much more expensive relative to their performance than NVidia cards at the moment. I can get a new NVidia 7900GS for R1 900 from www.prophecy.co.za while the somewhat weaker ATi X800 XT will set me back R2 300! What is up with that?

I think it was NAG that had an article about the expensive priceses in SA. It boiled down to the fact that people in SA think that something cheap is bad. So the cheaper importers have to lift their priceses before the product sells. So the Rectrons et al keep the price high since that is what SA "expects" to pay.

True or not. I'm always there for a good deal. Same story maybe for SA Car prices.
