This sort of off topic but weird thing happened today, I ordered a switch from Prophecy 2 days ago and today a courier arrives with my package which I payed R425 for.

After a while the guy from Prophecy calls and asks if I have gotten the package and if I could open it, when I opened it, there it was HD4850 512MB :D

He didn't seem to know what would be inside so I guess if I wanted to I could have said it was empty :p but yeah I felt sorry for the guy who paid for it.

Anyway nearly had a HD4850 today for R425.

And yes I'm bored that's why I'm posting it.

Did you pay R425 or R429? :p

I would have thanked the gods for this highly advanced switch I got if I were you ... but did you not see the package was a tad big for a switch? What switch did you buy?

hehe, dude you couldn't image how I felt when he asked me what was inside :D I was silent for a while, cogs in my brain working, what do I say, then after a silence I decided that it might be a hard sell telling him it's empty (since the package says 2kg weight), and I don't know what else they've been selling

ha ha ha, well at least you took the moral choice, but there's a 3rd option. you could have said you didn't have the package on you, but you would have a look at it when you get the chance...
and with that you could say that the switch was in it... (then you go to landmark pc and buy another switch :D)

Well he def. knew I didn't have the switch because he told me, he'd just put it in the box ;) Also I signed a slip with the courier but yeah I'm no good at scamming (over think it I guess), maybe I'll try to 1 up them next time (like that'll happen) :D

Lol the old conscience just wouldn't allow it though huh?

This month I have also finegled a pretty impressive upgrade for my PC if I do say so....
From 17 inch to 19 inch LCD, from 300w to 500w PSU, from 7300GS to 8800GT 512, got a wireless keyboard/mouse, and trying (fingers crossed) to get a new chassis - all for around R600 when all the dust has settled :D.

How can you be confused? He ordered a switch, but got one (uno, 1 ,single unit, `ane', α, I, ⅰ, ١, ১, 一，弌，壹, 일, 하나, १) ATI HD4850 in the box. How is that confusing?
