My wife entered a competition on Jacaranda FM as follows and to date she has still not received any of the vouchers promised.
Date: 27th August 2018
Scenic Drive – Happy Hour
She appeared on the Scenic Drive with Riaan via phone and requested the song H.O.L.Y by Bobby van Jaarsveld and was told sge would receive a voucher to the value of R 2,500.00 from Somethings Cooking in Times Square. She was told by Morne JK that the vouchers would be emailed to me.

Date: 26th September 2018
Scenic Drive – Takeaway Wednesday. She received a call from Morne JK requesting she make a dish of Pilchard Fish cakes and was interviewed by Riaan and was informed by Morne JK that she would receive SPAR vouchers to the value of R 1,500.00. she was told by Morne JK that the vouchers would be couriered to her.

I sent an email asking what the status was and received a call after the email and she was told that there was a backlog but she should be getting the vouchers soon. I subsequently sent two more emails as she has now been waiting 3 months and Jacaranda have failed to respond to my last 2 emails.

My wife and I are both pensioners and have been looking forward to receiving the vouchers!

Rather disappointed thus far.
 
That is really bad form of them. I wonder if other people are having the same problem?
 
My mother won R4000 on Jacaranda more than a month ago. Also still waiting.
 
Just an update, still haven't received the vouchers and now Jacaranda FM have stopped responding to my emails! Any advise on how to get this issue more exposed would be appreciated.
 
Try social media. And just as a side note, I believe you're not allowed to enter for 3 months after you've won something in a competition.

Jacaranda appear to have initiated contact and offered vouchers in the second instance. i.e. they weren’t won in a competition.

lkswan, what's the fish cake recipe?
 
Amazing that just today I asked wife if she ever hears about winners ?

Correct, the second vouchers where offered for the fish cake dish we took to the Jacaranda studio!

Normal Hake fish can be used instead of Pilchards.

+1 that's poor form. Spread your story on their FB and twitter pages.
 
Finally managed to get my wife her vouchers after 8+ months of waiting. I managed to get the email address of the CEO of Jacaranda and sent him a copy of all the emails I sent to various people within Jacaranda FM and ask him for his help in resolving the matter. With the first voucher the problem was resolved within 24 hours and in the case of the second voucher it took a second email to him and again, within 24 hours the issue was resolved.
It is a sorry situation when the staff employed to do a job don't do it and the CEO of the company has to get involved in mundane tasks!

Glad you finally came right. This is really bad form on their part.
