Not really sure where this is going.

I once had an hour or two and nothing to do so I ended up reading the Wiki page about the Srebrenica massacre; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Srebrenica_massacre

It actually took about two hours for me to read it because even though it's typical Wiki facts-and-figures style you actually can't read and an not take a break quite often to sit and think about how this could happen.

The Srebrenica Massacre, also known as Srebrenica Genocide, was the July 1995 killing of an estimated 8,000 Bosniak men and boys in the region of Srebrenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina by units of the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS) under the command of General Ratko Mladić during the Bosnian War. In addition to the VRS, a paramilitary unit from Serbia known as the Scorpions participated in the massacre.

So they finally caught the guy and he'll go to jail, so maybe it's just an opportunity for everyone to remember what happened.

IT's horrible, but not unique, i don't think? Unless u mean it being engineerd by a single person?

Hopefully he'll get a FAIR trial first. He's been indicted not found guilty,
unless of course you have access to the verdict already?

Wow saw the article in the newspaper today, with a photo-he lived undercover for like 12 years, right under the police's noses.I don't think there's any argument on whether he's guilty, it's only a matter of what sentence he should get. They are apparently still looking for the master mind(general something), so i don't think this guy'll bear the brunt of the blame.

I think there is an argument. If he is going to be tried in a world i want to live in there will be a fair trial. If that fair court finds him guilty and his appeals
fail, he may be considered guilty. Remember in the Balkans there were at least 3 groups of people fighting and each one committed atrocities and
each one was happy to get the the other parties get the most blame.

Innocent until proven guilty. Same would go for Mugabe if he ever makes
it to Hague.

+1 Not unique...

This stuff happens all the time in Africa. Today. Sudan. Rwanda. DRC. Congo. Guinea. the list goes on...

Africa is too pathetic to do anything about it. They shun international intervention, but ask for "aid"...

Shows that the rest of the world goes on...
