Its about time ;)

But wheres the thread? This happened 10 hours ago! :D

Has he been officially fired or is it a ''report'' that he will be fired in the next 48 hours?

Should he be fired - who would he be replaced with?

I'm a big fan of Pellegrini. Will they go British or Foreign?

Edit: SkySports mentions Guss Hiddink. Now that would definitely be progress.

I say we start a fund to cover the shortfall and be rid of this TW@T. The sooner we are rid of Rafa the sooner our club can be back on track and to winning ways.

i hope he settles quick so we can get back to where we belong!

Yay! He is gone. Now my Liverpool can hopefully get back on track!

Hiddink is very very difficult to get. He has a contract with the turkish FA. He is also on inter's short list but his agent has told the media its nearly impossible for him to rescind his contract.

LFC will have a problem attracting any big name managers this summer. One of the reason why rafa has apparently agreed to rescind his contract is because there is very little in the way of transfer funds available.

Rafa is about to be pushed out in the next 48 hours once they agree on a fee with Rafa. Inter Milan confirmed as favourites to sign Rafa. I thought Rafa was a **** manager. Inter need their heads checked.

We are making a big mistake pushing Rafa out.

So stefan how do you feel about getting Rafa. Italy would suit his style

He wouldn't be my first choice. But considering that the top three candidates are all unavailable(capello, hiddink and pep) I guess he could be a decent manager. I liked him when he was at valencia but his lfc spell has been very disappointing apart from one pl season and the cl final where milan threw it away.

But maybe the more tactical style of serie a and inter will suit him.

The big worry is his transfer record. But that will probably be curtailed due to the way inter(and italian clubs in general) are run as opposed to english clubs. In england the manager has a much bigger say while in italy the sporting director rules the market.

But we will see what happens. I would still prefer if we could get mister hiddink, unlikely though.

So no Aqualani following him to Inter for 24mil :(

;)
