so, how come rage and sexpo are always on the same weekend?
do i really have to choose...lol

Nope. The thing is they have to have a warrant for your specific computer to come and check your pc. In other words, lets say there are 500 computers there and they want to search all 500. That means they must have a warrant for each pc there...individually. This is because you are an individual. So even if Bill Gates arrives at the event, if he touches your pc without your permission you can sue his lil ass off. Furthermore, lets say microsoft is there and touches your pc without your permission and attempts to take you to court, the evidence is inadmissible due to the fact that it was illegally gathered, therefore you can sue them for invasion of privacy and slandering your good name...trust me I have hoped microsft touches my pc at every lan I have gone to :P

4 - 6GB per ISO, 2 - 4GB per Blu Ray movie, about 20GB for a series, add apps to that and it could go pretty quick. I have about 2 TB and it is almost at capacity... ;) not that I am using any illegal software... :)
 
2Tb's should be enough if you want afew games. If you just a leech then you gonna need alot more than 2TB's. But security is tight, you get stickers for each peripheral so that they all belong to the same user.

With Virus' and things like that at rage they are very tight, if they catch you ( and they most likely will ) you will be escorted out the event like 2008 :P they escorted 3 guys out that were hacking. The mods are cool guys, reasonable and on their toes. So you shouldnt worry too much about virus'.

Drinks and stuff isnt really a problem either. As was said, there is a McDonalads like right at Northgate so its not far. Sleeping wise, best thing to do is bring a pillow and a blow up mattress or alot of blankets, sleeping under the desk is good. Its really warm imo :P

Well it is lol :) better than sleeping in a cold corner. Its slightly difficult to heat up the dome even though there are so many Pc's.
 
A friend of mine lives two minutes from the dome. If we crash it will be at his place... (probably will seeing as we will probably get pissed on Friday and do most of our gaming on Saturday... :)

BTW... I am NOT using illegal software!! ;)
