Rain 5G Speed Upgrade

If you order a new product before your existing one has been cancelled (after a full month's notice), then you deserve to pay for two products. It's not Rain's problem, and it goes for anything in life.
So you're defending anti-consumer practices by companies?

If I take out a cellphone contract for 2 years, and I decide to take out a new contract 6 months after taking out the 1st one, then I will be paying for 2 contracts (1st one still has 18 months left).

The same thing goes for month-to-month. You are responsible to cancel a service if you don't need it anymore (usually with a month's notice).

There is no "upgrade" path from 4G to 5G, so if you want 5G, you need to take out a new 5G package and cancel your existing 4G (if you want to cancel it).

You can upgrade or downgrade (switch) between the 3 different 5G packages, and yes, then the provider is responsible to adjust your billing accordingly. (Stop billing you for the old package, and start billing you for the new one - no double billing)

It's really simple and easy to understand.

Why are you white knighting the company, are you an employee?

You will be surprised on how silly people can be concerning this matter …

so I think we not trying to whatever you saying ( white knight uhm ) whoever …

Its plain and simple … actually straight forward …

and it’s true with anything in life if you don’t cancel it’s your own fault … there are month month companies out there that don’t even give there customers or clients refunds or even try to help … I can say As for rain specially the person running the rain forums on here tries there best to help …

On 5G Standard package. How can I improve my upload rate?

Hi @StephOsK

Please send me your email via PM, i will look into it

Hope they added infrastructure to deal with congestion of more sign ups. My premium 5G with Rain goes over 50mbps on the rare occasion when there's a full moon and the planets align. Asked two consultants to be moved to a tower closer to my location as there are 4 towers within 500m from residence but I'm still on a tower 2km away - the default response is to take the sim card out for 10 mins then restart and hope it connects to a closer tower - btw this never works.
I changed my tower but changing the direction which my CPE was facing. i was connected to a tower 2Km away too when i had a tower 0.86KM. even after this it didn't improve my speeds ..

Ping: -1ms
Download: 18.88Mbps
Upload: 2.16Mbps
