Please post your Rain 5G speeds here and not in your LTE-A thread.
Can ADMIN please pin?
 
I have created a separate page for 5G speed tests. Post your 5G speed tests here and let’s see what you guys are getting.
 
Absolute dogshit tonight. 150ms latency, 0.5mbps down. Router rebooted to no avail. Speed.rain.co.za does not load.

Looks like some loadshedding needed to reboot the network...Screenshot_20230109-204312.jpg

Been having the same issue. Change the APN on the router to unrestricted. Worked for me.
 
Is this on the 5G routers and how do you change the APN. Doesn't allow me to
 
I used both, and there was no real difference for me, but I wasn't having a bad/poor experience.
It did force me to reconnect, so I wonder if that can cause the difference, if say, you connected to a different sector or tower.

I just put it back to "rain" and it still works fine. For fun, I set it to "banana" and it also works fine. So ja, I don't think it matters at all. As for a force reconnect, I would have thought the multiple reboots I had done before changing the APN would have done this but those made no difference.

Perhaps they were just having 5h1t on their network at the same time and it's coincidence.
