Had a little drizzle earlier in stellenbosch, not much further

Rain was coming down nicely and I enjoyed it until I reallised I left the bottom tap open on one of my rain water tanks.

Luckily I closed it just as the rain passed

A decent 41.91mm for Dwarsberg-Jonkershoek.
Nearly 10mm on the board already for today, keen to see what they do for the day :)

On a side note, the wind in Gardens has been horrendous, someone please turn it off :)

*edit - 41.91mm

Rainfall has been very patchy with this event. During the period up to midnight (Sun 10th) Dwarsberg (Jonkershoek) recorded 42mm, while Constantiaberg (Cape Town) recorded 5.5mm. Heavy showers are likely in places for the next 24-36 hours.

Been raining all night in SWest and still raining, gonna be fun taking the jetski to work now now
It must be scary driving in the rain with all the morons on the road. I'm loving this rain, always relaxing.

i love it, my orange headlight on full beams and my 2 white spots open the roadway ahead of me, much like Moses did :)

This must be the first black southeaster in years. Very rare. The last one I can recall was around 2012/13 and those were very wet winters.
