How long does it usually take you?What time do you leave each respective point?

yup everyday for last 9years by bike
Leave SWest about 7:00am and get to work 7:45am nice and slow, sit at around 100km/h and filter very slowly when i get to Jakes Gerwel as that is where it is bumper to bumper.
Going home is 5:00pm - 5:35pm as the traffic is not as bad as coming in and i tend to go a little faster, 120km/h-ish

Take off 10-15min for school holidays as sometimes i get no bumper to bumper at all.

I leave the house at 6h20 and get back at 7h10 on a good morning. That's just to drop the kids at school. On a bad morning, or if I leave after 6h30 I get home anywhere from 7h20 to 7h45. And that's just driving across stellenbosch and back.

Was it wet this summer? Other than that Friday afternoon in Jan where it was insane, I don't think there was much rain at all this Summer...in Jan and Feb, at least.

As soon as March came, so did the rain. But March is technically Autumn, isn't it?

Still better than last year though,. Last year the rain started on 18th April...I remember that day well.

Ja that Sbosch traffic is kak nowadays, 20yrs ago it was a breeze.

Wouldn't characterise it as "wet" but we had a few good rainfalls on the south peninsular this summer - first time in years.

Given the late announcement, the fact that we have just had soaking rains, and the fact that most people have rainwater tanks installed, this seems like a really minor concession...
