no drain in backyeard. and to get to front yard i have to break a concrete slab up to make a drainage pipe.If it is a consistent problem try looking at installing a French drain.
Clearly it never heard me or is just playing hardegat. Either way, enough now of this infernal kak weather !!Thursday 27/08 at 8:02 PM
Rain has started..
Get ready for a wet, damp, cold, miserable next few days. Goodbye sun.
Time for winter to wave goodbye methinks.
It woke me and I was up at 3am, fell asleep at 4:30 again.I hear everyone say the thunder was loud last night, even the dj's on the radio
I never heard a single thing
might be due to the fact that I had 2 jagerbombs and 12 beers last night

And my slope is from front to back.
My backyard is also the lowest between my neighbours and the only one with grass. So yeah, everything is against me.
Works until the ground gets saturated and then what? You don't connect it to anything, it's basically a cube of earth that you take out at the lowest point and fill it with large stones, when it rains it fills up and seeps away.

I had to swerve around a swimming pool on the way homeAll this rain is hammering the roads, in the last few days I've noticed holes have opened up all over the place. The roads dept is going to be very busy repairing it all.

Same here. Whoever repairs the roads close to us is very efficient - they are out very soon to repair potholes. But the same holes have opened up again, and some more. Roads taking a battering, it seems. All this rain is hammering the roads, in the last few days I've noticed holes have opened up all over the place. In brackenfell, behid the hyundai garage is a little road that always gets flooded. As in over the sidewalk, easily a foot deep water. Anyhat. Perfect place to clean the Jeep's underside. It is just around the corner of me, so engine and gearbox still cold. I charge through there at about 40KPH. water everywhere, underside cleaned after the last offroad excursion. whoop
