4:25pm: CT radar shows storm cell making landfall 5km north of Melkbos: Rain observed in the distance. Isolated lightning moving towards the CBD.

Yes, excitement by CT standards, but don't expect more than 1-2mm of rain, as storms are short lived...

As usual with thundershowers, some areas got very little (Kenilworth < 1mm), while others got deluged (Melkbos probably 5-10mm).
