I'm also noticing that despite the roasty days, the evenings are now noticeably cooler. That sapping heat doesn't linger late into the night like it used to. That I can live with.
A lot of the perceived heat is due to wind and humidity (or lack of either). Tonight will be mostly windless, but the air is currently fairly dry (CT airport is 33C and 11C dew point (RH < 30%). That will change over the next few days, but becoming much more tolerable.
