Rain blocking Speedtest.net shares? Plus abhorrent connection!

It would seem that Rain and/or Speedtest.net is blocking result sharing for tests done on the Rain network. I initially wanted to share the horrendous speeds I've been getting on the Rain network, noticed the issue, and switched over to Telkom LTE to test. Tests done on Telkom are allowed to be shared.

1: Rain Speedtest - crappy network.



2: The same Rain test, with error popping up that sharing is prohibited/can't be done..



3: Test done on same setup, just with Telkom LTE a few minutes later.



4: The same Telkom Speedtest, where sharing is clearly not prohibited.



Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but this move by Rain just irks the living hell out of me.

Anybody else experience this too?

All good here ... getting 200/20 speeds on Ookla and Mybroadband tests.

Do you maybe have a VPN running? That sometimes messes these tests around.

I'm happy for you mate. I noticed the folks on 5G service are getting great speeds lately. It's 4G that's suffering now though.

Not running a VPN at all. Perhaps that's something I should look in to.

Think We had 3 days of decent Internet this month
and just had to test this and yea when I test them I get decent speeds

on Rain no go on the share

But on my MTN contact.
