Rain launches LoopPhone with unlimited data

Rain has announced the launch of the LoopPhone, a smartphone that is free to use on the operator's new Unlimited Mobile plan.

With Unlimited Mobile, the network operator is offering a flexible, month-to-month mobile plan structure designed for people who need unlimited data, restricted to specific locations.

Even the S25FE can be had for around that price as well.

I foresee lots of complaints around the Unlimited City package. I guess it will work well if you are based in JHB and work in PTA where your office will have WiFi, but while in transit will be interesting switchover.
Some people will forget and get the shock of their lives after doing a work trip to DBN or CPT.
The Unlimited Countrywide makes the most sense for the sake of peace.

Very interesting approach by Rain, I hope their network has improved from years ago where it was known to be quite unreliable.
