Rain LtE-A Down the drain

Getting a strong 4/5 bar signal since 1 Nov compared to the measly 1/5 bar previously but a constant 10Mbps. Speedtest shows 50Mbps down at times but the speed fluctuates a lot (signal stays strong), sometimes it goes down to 2Mbps constant.

I suppose I can't really complain.

This has nothing to do with the signal. Tower congestion or Rain throttling is the only explanation. At least they or afrihost should communicate!!!!!

I have an external antenna pointing straight at the tower, and experience the same slowdown (below 2Mbps) the past two evenings

We're constantly reporting user feedback to the guys at Rain. How has your connection been testing over the weekend?

Sofar the weekend it has not been that bad, speed still drops in the evenings, but not as bad as the first couple of days in Nov.
As for the ticket, the last feedback was that it will be sent to Rain, and nothing since.
