At this point I'm close to eating humble in joining the rest of the "RAIN haters" out there. Pity because I was off to a good start late last year with RAIN 5G, but the last week has left a bad taste in my mouth.

With latest offerings I'm assuming their customer care center has been clogged with new business. Add to this the problem of their 5G network not being matured enough has their customer care center grinding to a halt. Bad storm last week saw my PoE go down which got replaced on Monday (great), but since then no 5G service only 4G. I'm assuming the RAIN 5G infrastructure in the area also took a hit.

Called into customer care at least 5 times so far this week with a combined on-hold time close to an hour. Not one call answered. Only means of communication is direct email contact but no replies since Monday.

Not ruling out the coronavirus card which I'm sure will be played soon.

I also will never ever use another RAIN product in my life.

I wouldn't go that far. Just highlighting current state of service in my particular case. Have had nothing but huge praise for them as my numerous posts can attest. This time around however they have dropped the ball. I have since made contact and it will be sorted out before weekend hopefully.

I'm just going to post here that I am still completely happy with my Rain 5G, getting excellent speeds. Had one issue and the online chat sorted me out in minutes
In b4 your tower goes down and you in the same situation.

I heard Rain has a rep here on the forums. Never seen that post though.
He/she has been helpful in past. Have reached out but no reply as yet. I know for a fact some RAIN staff are currently working from home.

I can confirm they are working from home, i have been down without 5G and 4G for more that a week now again. The tech that they sent out also could not help as its a tower issue by me but they also have no answers as to who, what or why and no sign of it being repaired.

Found out this morning after techs came through that tower I'm connecting to is currently undergoing configuration to make it anchor point. Should take 24-48 hours they say. Not sure what to believe now as my line has been down since 12th March essentially.

Progress nevertheless ODU and Q2 all good thankfully. Connecting via 4G at least. Better than nothing.

I wonder what an anchor point is?
