RAM - speed vs quantity?

3 x 333 Mhz chips = 1.5 Gb of RAM

or

2 x 400 Mhz = 1 Gb of RAM

I don't think the board supports dual channel mode. It's an older P4 board.

Running XP? I’ll go with the ddr400 if the board supports it, 1gb should be good with a decent size page file. My opinion.

Agreed, 1GB is sufficient for XP & an extra 0.5 won't make a huge difference.
