What about the Corsair extra low latency? I'm thinking of buying at the end of the year (R1200 for 512Mb!!!!). Anybody have it, or make know of something better?

The low latency stuff is really only for hard-core overclockers and people who want better 3D marks ( ). It's not really worth it imo...rather get 1GB of RAM for that price.

The cheaperst low latency RAM you can buy would be from the states and then you can ship it here with MyUS.

I can almost buy 2Gigs of it for the price of one 512Mb extra low latency.

yup i just upgraded from samsung 1.2.,. gigs to transend 1.5 gigs ddr 400 cl 3 alot faster

wanted corsair but rectron had no more 512 or 1 gig

get the transcend, very good quality and a decent price.

corsair is better ram however this corsair "Value" ram! it should be compared with jetram (also made by transcend)
