Ramaphosa resigning off the table

The findings against him is a exactly what accountability means, that's why he has to go to court. He has to subject himself to the parliamentary process that follows after this, that is how accountability works.
Indeed.
Let me know when it actually works though ;- )

He can’t just decide he’ll be staying. He has to answer for the allegations and provide proof etc. if he had indeed transgressed clause 89 he will be impeached.
He's the accused, onus of proof is not with him. The evidence that the findings are based on is sketchy at best. If it goes to court, it's likely to get thrown out. Even Thuli seems to think so...

I think the problem is that people have this flawed idea that accountability is supposed to work one way and one way only, if it doesn't result in my desired outcome it's not accountability, that's where the problem starts.

Good. If the previous president can be guilty of fraud and rape then i dont see why ramapuza cant atleast have fraud under his belt.

His answers to the allegations are even sketchier. I mean, no-one has even been able to locate this mysterious buyer of buffaloes.

Hahaha, realisticly speaking, I do not see Ramaphosa finishing a 2nd term. I dont think SA has a president that successfully finished 2 terms. Did Nelson Mandela not select 1 term only?

People are weird. They called for Zuma to step down, he did that. Now they call for Ramaphosa to step down, and some go as far as to say Zuma was better. They will probably do the same with the next ANC president (president X must step down, Ramaphosa was better). This somehow needs to be expressed in a cool mathematical equation, or some law "The Law of .... ".

Again locating the mysterious buyer is not Cyril's baby to worry about, he can only be worried if someone proves that the buyer does not exist.
You're talking legalities, we're talking justice.
But anyway, the light crime of keeping foreign currency, likely the only one possibly provable, is hardly a train smash. Let him stay and keep things from going over the cliff.

Yeah, that's too deep for me.

I had respect for him as a businessmann. But as a president he has been totally and utterly useless. I am really wondered how he was actually to grow him business without any corruption before. I highly likely doubt that now.

Never liked him but would rather he stays on than to have the worst of the ANC thieves and fraudsters coming in and looting whatever little is left and turning the country into real hell.
