Rand crumbles as load shedding pressures mount

Dollar is incredibly strong, has nothing to do with load shedding.

Two things here, there is no stopping the Dollar's momentum. The North American currencies are on a steam roll. Saying this, where their confidence is on an up curve, and favourable for exchange, ours are being diminished for a variety of reasons. The Rand's collapse is diversified.

The Dollar will become exhausted at some point. The Americans are basically dictating the world with their decisions at this time. In the view that they are curbing their domestic issues, the rest are challenged by it. Repaying the US's debt is becoming an expensive exercise, and not everyone can attempt to meet the US on their decisions. The Swedes have hiked their rates by 100 basis points. Go see what happened to Turkey when they decided to cut their rates. Anyone who needs Dollars, who is not American, will need to have lube in hand. Does Eskom need Dollars?

Remember, this is not an American recession. They said so.
