You know looking at this if you want to know when the rand's going to spike, simply ask me when I'm next visiting the US. Cos that's a remarkable coincidence.

This is going to hit our economy hard. We're at the point of the last straw breaking the camels back in SA. Recession in 3, 2, 1...

I've got to pay for a big order for our business tomorrow in USD and even if we take a hit on profits, the retail prices on some goods once they arrive here are is just getting ridiculous. Retrenchments are inevitable at this rate.
