According to the Telkom notifications, last night a lot of exchanges around Randburg area were under maintenance. The current trend has been to upgrade the exchanges to support ADSL2+ etc and i know a few people on the same Randburg 7 exchange who were bumped up to 10mbit.
I went to sleep thinking that when i woke up i would hopefully also be on higher speeds, alas i woke up to the sight of my usual g.dmt modulation and still synching at 4mbit.
Anyone around the area synching at higher speeds since last night?
Does maintenance carry over to the next few days?
