Hi all,

Am considering buying a second hand 2008 range rover. Please advise if this is a good idea. If not which second hand 4x4 should i look at interns reliability. It will not be a daily car but for long distance traveling.

We have a fleet, well a small one of about 4 Rover Sport supercharged ones, the older ones were great, 2008, 2009, the newer 2010 models gave us such issues.
Not only that but the service from Rover is shocking. Be warned.

Rather look at a Disco 3/4 - better value for money.
They are cheaper, more reliable, bigger and have the same luxury.

I own an older 2002 Range Rover 4.6HSE Vogue. Gives about 4-5km/l.

 and I thought my bakkie was heavy on juice! You must almost live at the petrol station! :D

Are you a footballer or have a small penis? Then what are you waiting for, buy one.

Just my impression of Range Rover drivers ;)

No it's not. It's Top Gears' impression of Range Rover drivers..

My cous told me hes had exactly the same experience with his. Sold it in favour of a Toureg.

Shocking service and everything costs a bloody fortune and almost always their "motorplan" does not want to cover it.

That's not exactly a small bundle of money there.
You should see the other cars in the fleet, they are not mine though.
