Mini rant...

How hard is it to provide a quote? How do they expect people to pay deposits when there is no official quote? Who in their right mind would pay this on the information provided below... This is the only information nothing else provided.

What am I paying money for?
The reference number below?

The strange thing is Nintendo which is also done by core in South Africa has no problems with quotes and communication.

50 % = R14744.50 so 100% = R29489
??

I ordered my 'custom' 16" MacBook Pro (M1 Pro, 32GB memory, 1TB) from Macnificent because the process of custom builds with iStore is slow, expensive and ridiculous in general.

If you need custom Mac specs, I recommend rather supporting Macnificent. Mine was even in stock and shipped immediately, whereas iStore were saying 8-9 weeks.

That doesn’t look like a legit iStore quote to me (which has all the usual details). Are you sure you didn’t get that from a scam website?

There is f all with anything from them that confirms what I requested a quote on

Unless core have lost access to their domain it is legit

Remember that someone can send an email on behalf of someone else, so a scammer can send a mail which appears to come from someone else, but you can check the actual sender address still in Gmail. What is the actual sender address?
