Just are gautvol with the lot...

...why don't they actually start doing something positive for South Africa and decrease their tariffs?

Also, why can't I convert my so-called free minutes to help "pay" my contract? I mean, 120 free minutes should be worth something, right? So, if I never uses any free minutes, and these tend to gather up, then why can't I get my next contract cycle a bit cheaper to make up for the free minutes not used?

Furthermore, can somebody confirm whether the free minutes are still in units of a minute and not continuously?

ah biddy bah

as soon as wife's contract ends, we'll be rid of them... can't wait...

The answer to all questions is: Businesses aim to maximize profit. (Or if you wanna be technical, the present value of future income).

LOL
They give away SMSs and the like, because to the network, these are close to free anyway. Spare capacity = SMS.

They make 7 mil a day profit....of course they can afford to sponsor sporting events etc + give away free stuff.

And I say bugger sponsoring sporting events and free stuff - I want lower tariffs!

Finish en klaar!

They have different packages and different pricing structures for all types of needs, what do you need?

I need MTN to allow me to end my contract with them without asking me to pay for the outstanding months. I'm also sick of their poor services. I had to wait for 45 minutes(And yes I timed it) at one time for them to help me. "All our operators are currently busy"

Any one know which one is the better network to move to? Vodacom, Cell C or Virgin. I plan to move as soon as my contract is up.

If it wasnt for the fact that i'm on standby a lot and need to get to work on short notice i'd get rid of my cellphone

SU need to communicate with me. Should she need vegetables or stuff then I can purchase these on my way back home.

Work can stfu when trying to phone me on my cell.

Poppy - so far I haven't had the need to phone their call centre ... yet.

But my email query was responded to and handled off in two days (couldn't register myself on CellC's website). They give you feedback via SMS upon receiving your problem/complaint/query and when resolved they also send you an SMS.

I'll have to phone in at some stage to activate MMS on my phone... but isn't so worried about it at this stage.

How can I mms you more pr0n if you havent enabled it yet T_L? sheesh!

It will be upto MTN to decide that, how many months are outstanding? If you signed for 24 months you have keep to that agreement, they can use it against you and they are, by asking you to pay!

I wouldn't move to Virgin or Cell C, Try your luck with Vodacom!!!;)

I have about 9 months left on my contract and I would have to pay for all those months before I can leave. They suck.
