Error
You want to download the following file:
http://rapidshare.com/files/257266648/CCure.part10.rar | 100431 KB

The download session has expired. Please click here to start the download again.

Possible reasons:

•The download takes to long to be saved.
•For this download, in the background your Internet Service Provider has assigned a new IP address. If you are for example an AOL customer, or use a similar Service Provider, please try to use a different browser.
If this problem persists to exist, you may want to purchase a Premium Account. As Premium users are not checked against their IP address, this problem will not occur. Or your internet connection is too slow to download the complete file within the session time.

Hi guys

Do you have a paid Rapidshare account?

Let me know.

Thanks

1. If your using RS to get your pirated stuff, just get a premium account. It isnt actually expensive.

2. This problem is not solely linked to iburst. RS does it to every IP they track that uses the service often.

3. Sometimes its DLM issue. If your using firefox and IDM, this happens every time ( if so just disable IDM in firefox addons). If not, dont worry...

I'm definately a frequent downloader from RS

This explains it:
2. This problem is not solely linked to iburst. RS does it to every IP they track that uses the service often.

I am not a downloader but by the sounds of it everyone is missing the point of this post IT WORKED BEFORE ! So stop trying to say he must get something different. IT worked before now doesn't work = Something wrong on IBURST side .........

There's nothing wrong on iburst's side. just downloaded 87mb file from rapidshare @ a constant 110-120kb/s. And I stay on the fringe area of iBurst reception in Stellenbosch. According to iBurst coverage map my reception should be poor! Dunno why everyone automatically blames iBurst for their problems.

Ja Razor there are people in SA that have no latency issues with WoW and then there are some that have issues with WoW latency so does it mean that those with issues are self created issues ?(This is an example) just because you are doing ok does not automatically mean that if there is a problem with someone else it is his fault. So if you don't have a history on certain issues it is best to keep quiet.

Im using my iburst for playing games. Pings are around 55ms for SA, 200 for UK (wow plays very well) and 320ms for america. Never had a problem.

How do you get to that conclusion? The problem could be with Rapidshare... have someone contacted Rapidshare to find out what the reason is for the problem?

I agree with razor. Chances are your using RS for pirated files. IMO, you shouldnt even be doing that anyway if its for illigal purposes. If your spending so much time dling from RS, just buy an account. And most importantly; the guys at RS aren't retarded. They track the IPs that use it alot, then "force" them (YOU) to get an account. No, it has never been a problem with iBurst. Its business.

lol Dude well i am guessing you are the only one getting that latency in south africa. 55ms ?? seriously do you actually expect me to believe you get that latency in SA ?? UK Gamers get around 100ms on EU servers, so i don't know how you calculated or read that somewhere ....

Want screenshots? I have tons. Even check my screenies by http://screenshot.xfire.com/screenshot/large/0dd6b2d3960884029324c5f2d45a23ad4f7ac95f.jpg and http://www.xfire.com/screenshots/agentrfr/

Most of those are a few months old, since then I've been getting far better pings.

And no, EU players get pings below 40ms, Germany to Brittan. Stop trolling the forums. If you dont like iBurst, get an ADSL line. One more thing: there are literally hundreds of hardcore South African gamers that play FPS competitively on iBurst. All of them with pings below 70ms at least.

iBurst uses a NAT or transparent proxy. RS allows you to select an alternative IP address from the list if it detects that you're currently dl'ng a file.

If yours does not work it may be that your browser is blocking it, I use FF without NoScript - and no probs.

Alternatively try JDownloader to download your files.

agentrfr i don't really want to waste keystrokes arguing with you. But if you read my post i was talking about latency on World of Warcraft .... I saw the screenies you posted and ja if we have servers in SA the ping will aslo be great for World of Warcraft(But we don't) So next time before you get your nickers in a knot read what i say first. 55ms playing World of warcraft on an EU server from SA ?? IMPOSSIBLE !!!!!!!!!

I hope you read what is said and don't have another little outburst .....

PS. WoW = World Of Warcraft

You said it yourself:rolleyes:

guys can anyone tell me is iburst is faster than a telkom 384kb/s adsl line?i know they say its 1mb/s but i don't believe what they say on paper. I want to know from someone that actually has used both. Oh and another thing is my house falls under a poor connection zone. any help would be appreciated as im considering changing from telkom to iburst as i was told that with iburst, if you pay per use option is switched off, after your 1gig cap is reached, they throttle you to 64kb/s but you get an additional 20gigs free

Yes, it's faster than 384kb/s, depending on which area you are.

Yes, it gets 64kb/s throttled, but you don't get 20GBs free.

If you are in a poor connection zone I would definitely get a reseller out there first with a modem to test your signal strength.

I had 384kb/s ADSL years ago when 512ks/s was still the max speed available.
For me personally : Usually it is faster than 384 ADSL but at certain times slower.
With ADSL my speed was basically constant.
