It's basically a file-hosting service. You aren't supposed to upload copyrighted material, but obviously it's impossible to effectively monitor over 4 petabytes of potential data...

There's nothing wrong with downloading from rapidshare, for the free user it's not rapidshare's fault Telkom & IS use transparent proxies and thus make it difficult to determine the users ip.

I have a premium account with them and on my Virgin mobile EDGE connection I ge a constant 21-26kb/s
