Standard Bank internet banking seem pretty insistent on getting users to install this software, which is a free download, to protect your system. A quick google search seems to suggest that it is not without problems:

Anybody have any first hand experience with it? I am a wary of installing this type of software unless I am pretty sure it is tried and trusted.

There have been a lot of negative reports in other threads on MyBB - I refuse to install it.

My internet went down to a crawling speed once I installed it, I have 4MB line with Windows 7 64Bit... But as a rule I also don't like crappy software like that.

Was just wanting to see what it does.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME INSTALLING IT - a family member installed it on a shared computer, and I noticed a massive slowdown in Outlook & IE merely opening up.
I even wrote to Nedbank's customer services weeks ago, blasting them for promoting it so heavily on their internet banking service so much, and as you can imagine, never heard a word back from them.
