I have been having issues downloading stuff from rapidshare I have a premium account, input my details into flashget or free download manager etc and off it downloads.

When it comes time to extract the rar files usually like 10 - 20 rar files, I open the first rar in 7zip, starts extracting and gets all the way to complete then tells me archive is corrupt somewhere?

How can I tell which rar file in the series is corrupt?

I sometimes guess by the size of the extracted end file and then redownload what I think is the rar file in the series that did not download correctly and it works but I cant find the corrupt file all the time?

winrar tells you which file is currupt. Maybe give that a go.

Downloading it now - it's so annoying and such a waste on cap and time to re-download everything.
Tried Jdownloader, free download manager and flashget, 1 file downloading at a time, single thread and still files become corrupted?
Yet, download with explorer and they are fine - even tried rapidhsare's downloader and it also bombs out.

Maybe it's the order of the files that are extracted first?
I've downloaded rar files which, after extracting, returned other rar files.

Tried that and 7zip picks up on the file and sometimes extracts other rar files.
But it appears files become corrupted with the download managers somehow, thought it might be the number of threads and the manager having trouble piecing them together.
So set the download manager for 1 download at a time, full speed, single download stream.

Begining to think of switching to torrents, but they run so slow
Do the news server's have as many corrupt rar files as rapidhsare?

7-zip has a "Test" option. You could try that and see what it tells you.

Just gives unspecified error on all the files, tried winrar and it give crc error or password incorrect?
There was something I found off google about that it will sometimes download a webpage htm from rapidhsare that looks like the correct file but isnt?

Basically to download from rapidshare:

I have to do the following steps

login to rapidshare via explorer and keep page open
click the link I found
cancel the first popup windows
click on the 2nd download window and enter server login details and start downloading, if it bombs out whenever, delete and start again!
