Raspberry & XBMC

Got my raspberry, downloaded the xbmc software and loaded it onto the SD.
Hooked up my mini wireless keyboard / mouse that came with the mede8er and its working.
Gonna finish installation when i get home (my uncapped it hardcapped during office hours oO).
Very impressed with this little device so far.

Next I am going to try load a nintendo emulator.

i was wondering how the performance is? all the videos seemed to suggest that it just about runs xbmc. does it feel laggy and slow?

do you get the same expereince as MediaPortal?

What distro have you got on? Thinking of trying Rasbmc or Openelec with XBMC.

I think its not going to be a permanent solution. Its just been done as an example of what it can do, it works though.

I'm also going to make it an emulator for old games.

Looks like you can use an Xbox controller quite easily.
