hey all ive been working on the guild website i know some stuff is still buggy eg the armory but im working on it

please help me by telling me what could make the site better and how can i improve on it

looks awesome, but to wowish for my taste to be honest :> I like the fact that I don't have to run around the page looking for the forums, but for recruitment I would make a template that is linked to the forum page :)
 
will put all the content to be viewed by guests

I used to have our forum in a wrapper, but then you can copy/paste links to posts etc.

Dont do that :)

The Joomla URL never changes (thanks to the wrapper), so you cant copy the link of a specific post. Unless you install some uber bridge plugin etc, which at that point it is just easier to change the header of the base forum install to match the guild website.
 
too bad we stopped raiding for european summer. We were in the top 3 guilds on server=/
oh well time to reform

Your, banner at the top of the site is a tad to big in my opinion ;) It took much longer to load than the rest of the site, and then it takes up 1/3 (if not more) of the screen.
I prefer this to be minimalistic as specially for our sometimes slow internet.

In the web layout I used for our guild raid group are perhaps a bit too simplistic, but it is supposed to be functional for the members only. Currently I am not much involved with it anymore, but still keep it up for the guild that uses it for the 10 man raid progress.

The forum itself is also simplistic, but easy to navigate.

Your site is quite decent in my opinion, but is it easy on the eyes to spend time reading on the dark background?
 
I love it... think its really awsome work done there...

Love the attention to detail. Looks very professional...

Cant really think of anything to complain about other than a dead gnome with an hunters arrow sticking out of his eyeball socket would have been better than that NELF. Too much alliance there.... more horde !!!

mmm yeh but i prefer graphical websites i just do.. forums well i havent posted anything there yet but i made it very simple to read with the colours etc etc

raid planner well im having problems with my authentication but ima try my best to have it up soon ...

mmm and boss progress im gonna embed some videos of the actuall boss fights aswell as the data i have

i am currently in dealings with wowhead to give me their talent tree code and some of their item databases

anyway ill keep u guys informed.. please keep posting any sort of comments or disses... thanx thanx
