A question for billion

How well do billion routers handle bad signals, eg my marconi automatically drops my speed down to 3400 (dont know if that was max though) even though my microcom could handle 4mbit. It seems different routers handle signals better.

Were I to get a replacement router say a billion, and it drops my speeds to less than my microcom I would get rather annoyed.

Cisco 837

pro's: Does anything and more .....
cons: when struct by lightning, then it becomes an expensive router to repair or replace

PROS : Brilliant home Gateway
CONS: Nothing yet....
 
Billion 7402R2 and Cisco 837

Pros: Excellent Site to Site VPN capabilities.
Cons: Does not handle some really bad line conditions to well.In that case we replace with Cisco 837.

Overall: Both Billion and Cisco Routers are excellent and just do what they are supposed to do.
