Problem is that when I installed a new Windows 10 on the hard drive, then it started giving problems and then it does not want to start all the time. Now it goes into BIOS when booting and sometimes doesn't show a screen. Something is wrong with it and I don't know how to fix it. So I am selling it as a broken laptop, but if you can fix the problem then you have a laptop worth over R20000.
I have had a new laptop for a while already, so I just am not interested in getting it fixed and it's just laying around collecting dust.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 - 6144 MB, Core: 1404 MHz, Memory: 8008 MHz, GDDR5
16GB RAM, DDR4 Dual-Channel
14.00 inch 16:9, FUll HD 1920 x 1080 pixel 157 PPI, IPS
Storage: SSD NVMe, 256 GB
 
Are you original seller of this one did you buy it from the facebook guy?

The GPU/motherboard is problem if it is same one from facebook.
 
I would be interested.

However , I need a more accurate description here.

When you boot it up , does it always fail consistently?
Without windows installed , does it POST? (Get past the BIOS stage and move on to trying to boot)
When turned on , does it always POST or does it sometimes POST and sometimes show a blank screen?
 
Sorry guys but I'm not too clued up with these things, all I can tell you is that it curreclty starts up and goes straight to BIOS settings page. So I can tell you for sure that the screen, keyboard, mouse, battery are working 100%. Not sure about the hard drive

How long have you had the laptop for and did it have these issues when you bought it?
 
It started giving blue screens every now and again, then it got worse and worse, now it's just shows BIOS settings.

Let's make it R2000, surely if the laptop is totally dead (which it's not, as it still displays) then parts alone are worth more?

The SSD and network card is salvageable, everything else is soldered to the board

Yeah think might be. Did some troubleshooting with the user, def dead gpu or board. At the stage did boot to windows most of time, but bsod shortly after connecting external monitor.
 
Why are you blatantly ignoring the question of how long have you had it?
 
I'm getting inundated with questions about the laptop, and to be honest I'm getting quite over it. I'm not here to diagnose the problem with the laptop via messages. It's avertised as broken and I've given as much info as I can, so take it or leave it. Final price is R1500 , otherwise I'll just use it as a glorified door stop. No harm no foul :)

How hard is it to answer how long you've had it? It says a lot...
